Talented accuracy

I've been meaning to blog for the past 2 weeks, but I've been procrastinating. Again. Actually, I don't think its all because of the procrastinating. Last week, I had CNC milling training at Mazak. It was a fun time, really. I saw the whole production line for the CNC machine, and the place where its created. I truly saw the true capability of the Mazak machine and its accuracy of 10 microns. Very impressive.
Is it true that some things in this world are only attainable through talent? Tennis ATP number 1; admission to university; Olympic gold medal; Nobel Prize; Oscar Award; Hole-in-ones; 4.0 gpas? Do you have to have an impossibly huge amount of talent and ability to make these things happen? Even hard work is a factor of talent. The talent to unleash an immeasurable focus on the tasks at hand.
The saying goes, "Everyone is good at something. No one is good at everything." I think they left out-"That something might actually be useless."
